Strategic Partnership with WHO for Orphan Disease Access

New initiative aims to streamline the procurement of rare disease treatments in developing member nations and reduce diagnostic delays globally.

The partnership will focus on three priorities: simplifying regulatory pathways for orphan drug access, training frontline healthcare workers to recognize early symptoms, and building a shared data infrastructure to track outcomes across participating countries.

The Alliance’s policy team will coordinate with national member associations to ensure the initiative reflects the realities faced by patients in each region.
