“Living a good life with hereditary transthyretin amyloidosis — is it possible?” An open lecture, also broadcast live.
United Kingdom
World Amyloidosis Day in the United Kingdom
An afternoon of learning and support for people living with amyloidosis — a Midlands patient and family event, with expert speakers and discussions.
Brazil
World Amyloidosis Month in Brazil
A regional meeting on hereditary and wild-type amyloidosis in Brasília, alongside a campaign broadcast on national TV throughout October with six doctors.
Spain
World Amyloidosis Day in Spain
AMILO’s World Amyloidosis Day event, held on October 24 during the congress of the Spanish Society of Cardiology.
Other editions also saw actions in Austria, the United States, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Colombia, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates and beyond — from street interviews and theatre productions to sporting challenges and art contests.

Organise your own event
We all need to be the link between the members of the amyloidosis community: patients, carers, industry and institutions. The theme of the orange link works whatever the situation, whether you bring people together physically or online.
