One day, one message: Be the Link. Patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and patient organisations from every continent unite to make amyloidosis known — and diagnosed sooner.

World Amyloidosis Day
Amyloidosis is a rare and multifaceted disease which is barely known — even among healthcare professionals. Because its symptoms mimic far more common conditions, it takes four years on average to reach a diagnosis: four years during which the damage caused to the organs is often irreversible.
World Amyloidosis Day exists to close that gap. Every 26 October, the international community comes together under one campaign — Be the Link — with medical conferences, concerts, open lectures, press campaigns and patient meetings held in dozens of countries.
